Calibration & Repairs

Planeweighs are able to calibrate virtually all types of aircraft weighing equipment up to 100,000 lb capacity. We have our own calibrations rigs and all records are traceable to International UKAS standards.

We are experts in the repair and overhaul of aircraft weighing equipment and since 1982 have been maintaining and calibrating aircraft weighing equipment for commercial and private customers from Brunei to Sweden.

Having had a very long and close relationship with General Electrodynamics Corp (USA). We are the Authorised European service, calibration and repair centre for all of General Electrodynamics Corp (GEC, USA) range of equipment.

We have strong links with the UK Military as well as other European Military organisation and regularly provide calibration and repair services when required.

 

Airline Fleet Weight & Balance Management

Accurate and efficient management of airline fleet weight and balance records is vital from both a legal perspective and one of flight safety.

Planeweighs can undertake the publication and continuous review of airline Weight and Balance Manuals, the management of aircraft Weight Preparation documentation, the calculation and publication of Dry Operating Weight and Index. Also the issue of DOW Sheets and Mass and Balance Schedules as well as the management of Minor mass and Balance Change records, including the re-issue of Schedules and DOW Sheets when required in accordance with current regulations.

Load & Trim Sheet Design

Planeweighs design and print Load and Trim sheets for air taxis, business jets and airlines customised to accomodate their specific needs and requirements.

 

Weight & Balance Courses

Whether you plan to weigh your own aircraft or to contract to a third party, you may consider Aircraft Weight and Balance Training.

Planeweighs offer courses that are tailored to the customer’s individual requirements, from basic weight and balance theory through to specific theoretical or practical training on the weighing of any particular aircraft type, we can tailor your course to your exact need.

To minimise cost, courses can be brought to your premises, in any location worldwide, and is designed for a class of up to ten students.
